Pour cette deuxième edition du Festival photo Saint Germain des prés le thème est "crossed view" : mots et images. Highway va donc explorer la complicité entre un ecrivain : LaurentChalumeau et une photographe : Stefanie Schneider . L’hommage que Laurent Chalumeau par son livre Moi et « Bobby Mc Gee » (Grasset) rend à la chanson culte « Me and Bobby Mc Gee » de Kris Kristofferson chanté entre autre par Janis Joplin sera illustré par un film réalisé en 2008 et des photographies de Stefanie Schneider issues plus particulièrement de sa série « Hitchhikers ». ...........................................................................................For this second edition of the Festival photo Saint Germain des Prés , the principal theme is "crossed views": words and images. So our exhibition “Highway” will explores complicity between a writer Laurent Chalumeau and a photographer StefanieSchneider. Laurent Chalumeau’s book is a study of a song "me and Bobby Mc Gee" from Chris Kristofferson sung by Janis Joplin (among others). "moi et Bobby Mc Gee" is also the novel of a wandering and careless youth and passionate love. It is a roadmovie that America traverses ..... Stefanie Schneider’s photographies are choosen mostly in the series « Hitchhikers » which are a perfect illustration of the song and the book. A Film realised by Stefanie Schneider in 2008 complete this exhibition
